Who we are

Restore Ministries fervently believes that every returning citizen deserves a second chance at restoration. No sin is beyond the reach of God’s redemption and there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. (Rom. 8:1) We believe in the power of the gospel to break cycles of destructive behavior and transform individuals, families, and communities. Hope for change lies in the person of Jesus Christ and in obedience to the truths found in God’s Word.

Our Mission

  1. Transitional Housing – Through our partnership with Living Water Ministry Network, we provide  housing for men transitioning out of the prison system.

  2. Biblically-Based Mentoring – Individuals are paired with a faith mentor who walks alongside them during the course of their residency. They also participate in group Bible studies with fellow residents.

  3. Community Connection – We connect returning citizens to supportive, faith-based church communities. We also connect them with community resources to equip them with the tools needed to become self-sufficient.

  4. Church Partnerships –We come alongside churches, offering guidance and resources for them to effectively welcome and assist returning citizens and support the families of the incarcerated.

Chad Curtis
Founder and Executive Director

Chad fulfilled his childhood dream by playing 10 years in Major League Baseball, including two World Series Championships with the New York Yankees. After completing his education degree, sinful choices led to over 7 years in prison. While there, Chad confessed his sin before God and asked for cleansing. God immediately opened doors for Chad to lead daily Bible studies for fellow inmates and participate on several ministry teams. After his release, he encountered the common obstacles of the returning citizen as well as some unique hurdles related to the high-profile nature of his past. Chad’s passion is to bring God’s comfort and restoration to those experiencing the brokenness of crime and incarceration.
